Front man Trevor Kemp is an accomplished songwriter receiving PRS royalties for the use of his songs by various artists worldwide, from ‘All Better now’ featuring as a sound track on a Cornish Surf film, to ‘The Crazy World of Arthur Brown’ doing a cover on BBC Radio 2.
Trevor's songs have also developed a fan base in the USA, were they have had extensive airplay on college radio stations.
His previous bands ‘Seed’ and ‘Nutmeg’ toured extensively in the USA, Hong Kong, China, Ireland, New Zealand, Thailand, UK and Scilly Isles and have supported Manic Street Preachers, Doctor and the Medics and Chumbawumba to name a few.
Weazeldust - who are currently unsigned, have gigged relentlessly and released 3 c.d’s on their own label ‘Rabbit In the Rain Records’ (see below) from which the 7inch vinyl release ‘Take me anywhere’ won single of the month award in Record Collector International Magazine.
In 2013 they were broadcast on BBC Radio ‘Introducing’ and have featured live on The Source FM as guests on the Simon Neild show ‘Inside Local Music’.
With Trevor on Vocals and Guitar, Emma on Alto and Tenor Saxophones plus Backing Vocals, with a recently overhauled rhythm section of Rob - Bass and Sam on Drums….
