The Inexplicables are a live 6-piece acoustic ensemble boasting a Bristol sound built on beatbox, with sumptuous vocals, tricky wordplay, raw bass and uplifting sax melodies; taking you on a mash up journey through reggae, hip-hop and latin to electro-swing, drum 'n' bass and dubstep. They are versatile, uplifting and always get the crowd dancing, equally at home on a big stage or in an intimate venue.
Exploding onto the scene this year they have performed all over Bristol & toured venues such as Komedia in Bath, The Full Moon in Cardiff & The Magic Garden and MS Stubnitz in London, supporting By The Rivers and Heymoonshaker to name but a few. In 2013 they played on the Main Stage at Sunrise Celebration, and so impressed the judges - ska legends The Beat - that they have been asked to support them at The Fleece next March (2014). They have also performed at a string of other festivals including Boomtown, Beatherder, Nozstock, Maker, Small World and Upfest to rave reviews.
The Inexplicables, a Bristol six-piece who, despite their acoustic setup, filled the stage with one helluva noise, were a real gem, and boasted the best cover of the weekend, a spot-on interpretation of Roni Size's classic Brown Paper Bag.”

"The highlight of the weekend however, was Bristol-based acoustic outfit . Resting on a backbone of mean beat-boxing talent, this dance-inducing, smile-enhancing 6-piece (not counting their 'Raving Raven' mascot on a stick, namesake to one of the funnest and funniest festival tunes we've heard) absolutely stole our hearts."
